Snack Potatoes

4 Medium potatoes

1/4 cup of oil

2 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

2 tsp basil

2 tsp oregano

2 tsp parsley

1/4 cup parmesan cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 425

  2. Quarter the potatoes long ways. Slice about quarter inch thick.

  3. Put into a bowl and cover with water. Soak for about 10 minutes to take out the starch.

  4. Drain the potatoes and pat dry with a paper towel. add to a cookie sheet.

  5. Drizzle with the oil and sprinkle the seasoning over the top. Mix well.

  6. Sprinkle with the parmesan.

  7. Bake for about 20- 25 minutes or until soft and slightly crispy. mixing halfway through.


Tips and Tricks!


Season well. depending on how well the potatoes are covered, you may want to add a little more of each seasoning.


Soaking the potatoes takes out the starch which makes it a lot easier to get them to crisp.


If you're feeling really snacky these are amazing with alfredo sauce. (Thank you to pregnancy for making me find this.)


This is also great for a side dish as well.
