Honey Garlic Chicken


8 Chicken thighs

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup cornstarch

2 tbs butter

1 tbs garlic

1/2 cup soy sauce

1 1/2 cup water

3 tbs honey

1 tbs cornstarch


  1. Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  2. Dredge in the half cup of cornstarch.

  3. In a nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until fully cooked and browned. Remove from pan.

  4. Add garlic, soy sauce and honey to the pan and mix well. Once combined, add cornstarch to the water and mix into the sauce.

  5. Once thickened, add chicken back into the sauce and serve over rice.
