Easy Fried Pickles

About 10 pickle spears.

1/4 cup flour

salt to taste

1 tbs cajun seasoning

1 egg

2 tbs milk

About 1/2 cup of Italian style panko breadcrumbs


  1. Mix together flour, salt and cajun seasoning. Add panko to a bowl. In another bowl, mix together egg and milk.

  2. In a pan add enough oil to fry and turn on medium. (It doesn't have to cover the pickles. You'll flip them halfway through.)

  3. Pat the pickles dry with a paper towel and get rid of as much moisture as possible.

  4. Dredge each spear in flour, then egg mixture, then bread crumbs.

  5. Add into hot oil. cook for about a minute or so on each side until golden brown.

  6. Remove to a plate covered in a paper towel to absorb the extra oil. Enjoy!
