1.5 lbs Thin Sliced Bottom Round Steak
Chef Meritos Carne Asada Seasoning to taste
Oil
3 Medium Roma Tomatoes
1 Small to Medium Sized White Onion
1 Bunch of cilantro
4 Limes
2 large ripe avocados
Salt to Taste
Sour Cream
Queso Fresca
Street Taco Size Tortillas
Separate the slices of beef and sprinkle the seasoning on both sides of the beef. Cut into bite size pieces and cook in a large skillet over medium heat with about a tablespoon of oil. Cook through.
Dice onions and tomatoes into small pieces and finely chop cilantro. Add to a medium sized bowl and mix. Add the juice of one of the limes into the pico.
Cut the avocados in half and remove the seeds. Cut the avocado into chunks and remove from the skins with a spoon. Mash the avocado and add in salt and the juice of one lime. mix well.
Crumble the cheese in a plastic bag or bowl.
In a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and once its hot, add the tortilla and fry one by one until you have enough. These are best served fresh and fried when you want them.
Serve with choice of toppings and enjoy.
