Naan


1 1/3 cup flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup milk *

2 tbs oil


Directions:

  1. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt.

  2. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add milk and oil.

  3. Mix until it form a dough ball. *If needed you can add a splash of milk if the dough is too dry.

  4. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

  5. Separate into about 6 balls and roll it out into a naan shape using a dusting of flour to keep from sticking to the rolling pin until it's about 1/4 inch thick.

  6. Cook in a skillet on medium heat until the dough bubbles slightly. Flip and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.

  7. Remove from heat. Serve as a side with hummus, curry, or anything you wish to use flatbread for.
